How do you handle road salt and winter grime in Ottawa and Gatineau?
Our detailing process includes a thorough undercarriage rinse and a specialized salt-neutralizing wash. We focus on removing the corrosive buildup that leads to rust, ensuring your vehicle survives the harsh winters across the National Capital Region.
Can you remove deep scratches or "swirl marks"?
Yes! While a standard detail cleans the surface, our Paint Correction service uses machine polishing to level out the clear coat. This removes swirl marks and light scratches, restoring a mirror-like reflection to your paint.
Does professional detailing help with the resale value?
Absolutely. A well-maintained vehicle with a documented detailing history and protected paint (like PPF or Ceramic Coating) can command a significantly higher resale price in the Ottawa and Gatineau markets.
How long do I need to wait after a service to wash my car?
If you’ve had a Ceramic Coating or Wax applied, we recommend waiting 7 days before the first wash to allow the product to fully cure. For standard detailing, you can wash it as soon as the next day!
What is the difference between PPF and a Vinyl?
PPF (Paint Protection Film) is a thick, clear “self-healing” armor designed to stop rock chips and scratches. Vinyl is thinner and primarily used to change the color or finish (matte, gloss, metallic) of your vehicle.
Will Chrome Delete hold up against high-pressure car washes?
Yes. When professionally installed, our Chrome Delete vinyl is tucked behind the trim edges to prevent peeling. It is fully car-wash safe, though we always recommend touchless washes to extend the life of the film.
What are the window tinting laws for Ontario?
Laws differ slightly between the two. In Ottawa, front side windows must allow 70% light, while in Gatineau, Quebec law requires front windows to allow at least 70% light as well. We ensure your tint is compliant no matter which side of the river you live on.
Can a wrap be applied if my paint has chips or rust?
Vinyl wraps require a smooth surface to bond properly. If your paint is peeling or has active rust, the wrap may not adhere correctly. We recommend addressing any body damage or deep chips before we apply a wrap for the best result.
